UNDER THE HOOD OF A TOYOTA

Do ya feel safer knowing that your bumper is plastic and styrofoam backs it up? The two hollow 2" by 2" pieces directly to the left of the white styrofoam is all that is protecting the engine compartment. No wonder a slow speed collision costs so much. The plastic container with the blue liquid in it is windshield washer. Instead of working on making engines more fuel efficient, car makers make the body out of lighter and lighter materials. Even though there are many more cars on the road than the last decade, automobile deaths have actually dropped while injuries have increased. By the way, this is not my car. The truck next to it is mine.
