La Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel is the main church in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. It was designed by a self-taught mestizo named something. It is a masterpiece to some and grotesque to others and it is the centerpiece of this very popular tourist town in central Mexico. There is a very large population of ex-pat Americans living there and has many fine restaurants to recommend it and some not so great. I took this photo from across the street in the city's main plaza.
