SHIP SWING

This is in Punta Arenas, Patagonia, Chile. The straits of magellan are in the background. While riding in a taxi on my way to a location I spied this ship being used as a swing by the local kids. I asked the driver to stop and we both got out and watched as the boys would climb up on the anchor and grab the rope for the big swing down to the beach. Notice the dark area where they landed in various distances from the ship. Kids, especially boys, can find just about anything to have fun with. It is one of my favorite photographs.
