This photo is a panorama looking east from Parker Lake area. It's just south of Lee Vining, California. Just over the moraine to the left in the photo is Parker Lake. I have posted a photograph and commentary in this blog's archives on August 20, 2005. It is a very beautiful area especially when the Aspens are turning brilliant yellow and red. October is the best time to see them. Click on the photo to make it larger and you'll see what I mean.
