STING ME. I CAN TAKE IT.

Charles Martin Simon is a very good friend of mine. He's an extraordinary fellow that writes and pubishes his own novels, has a very successful on-line health promoting web-site, and is a renowned bee keeper/stinging insect specialist in Santa Cruz County California. I went to a site where he keeps some of his bees to monitor the hives. While we were there he was checking a hive and turned around and walked toward me saying take a photo of this bee stinging me. Sure enough the bee had its stinger planted firmly in the back of Charles' hand! Charles gently picked up the soon-to-be-dead bee leaving its stinger planted firmly in his hand. I'll bet it hurt like hell but Charles took it in a matter-of-fact way. I'm sure he has been bitten many times. Old beekeepers get stung (not bitten) all the time and yes it does hurt.

Hey: I had your picture of you in your outfit on my computer, and am proud to say that I put my family Green Shirt Day pictures to replace you. I did it so they are rotated, so every time I look, it is a different picture.
I am very proud of my new talents with my computer and all the new things I've learned in your class. Thanks for being such a patient teacher, and that your sense of humor is still intact.....
