His whole life has changed as well as the family and friends that know him. He lived alone. His progress will be determined by several things, not the least of which is his mental determination to make the best of a very serious situation.
I went over to his house today and photographed the outside in hopes these photos and others will help keep him connected to his center. Of course he wants to go home NOW and he surely will. It's just gonna take time and nothing will be even remotely the same again. It's important, I think, that he has a visual construct of his life and these photos will help. His spiritual construct showed up in many ways as I walked around his property and gazed upon the art and tools that he surrounded himself with. He appreciates beauty and seeks peace and reconciliation with the hand he has been dealt even before the stroke. I was moved by what I saw today and tried to capture the beauty and serenity that he seeks.

I was enthralled by the photos before I even read your entry; very touching and I feel sure these will connect him in a way that little else could.
