After visiting my son in the local hospital I noticed telescopes set up on the heliport. Since it is an unusual occurrence for telescopes to be our during the day, I stop and asked what was going on and then I remembered that today was an "annular" solar eclipse. I stopped to see and, along with my wife and grandson were able to view the event in two ways. One by direct viewing and the other by a reflective method shown in the image below. Miss it? No problem. There will be another in 2023. See you then? To check out the whole story go here.

SENSELESS
| ||||||||||||
I am still in shock about this incident. It is incomprehensible to me. How can this happen? There is much fear and anger in our fair city right now. This event has traumatized many, especially women. Women live in fear of assault. To have this tragic event happen in broad daylight to someone just walking down the street is unbelievable!
