This is Big Sur, California. It is a place about 75 miles south of Santa Cruz on the Pacific Ocean coast. My wife has been coming here since the early 70's and loves the beauty and tranquility of the scenery. This sitting in the chair in the Big Sur River is a tradition that we have shared for several years. No trip here would be complete without it. It's very quiet and the sound of the water rushing by is very restful. It was a beautiful day and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
