I joined the US Army when I was 17 to get away from home. Took basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO and shipped out to the Far East. Traveled to Japan, Korea, Okinawa, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. I finished my tour and was discharged when I was 20 years old! I really enjoyed my time in the military. It gave me so many opportunities and offered travel and worldliness. I had a chance to grow up when I was in the Army....but I didn't.

BOY SOLDIER
