I went to the Santa Cruz County Fair a week or so ago. I like to go to the Photo Contest pavilion to check out local photographers. This was the worst showing I've been to at the Fair in 20 years. Things appear to be a little confusing now that digital photography is coming into its own. Lots of children's photo which were very good. Nice to see so many budding photographers around.
Of course the Fair wouldn't be complete without the requisite "Corn Dog". The rest of the "food" there didn't look very appetizing.
I stuck around until it was dark to get some shots of the lighting used by the rides. I was clear that I am not prepared to go on any rides anymore.
