MARIE OSMOND DOLLS

I was asked to photograph a series of Marie Osmond dolls for an upcoming auction to benefit a local non-profit. Marie Osmond is part of a very talented musical family that was popular in the 70's and 80's. Her brother Donny was equally well known. The dolls were donated by a lady living here in Santa Cruz. I had no idea that dolls could cost as much as these. They ranged in price from $88 to $256!

Since I never photographed a doll let alone carry them around it was pretty weird to fix their clothing and hair for the shot. I used available light and some subdued flash. It was much more of a challenge than I expected.
