
This is the Felton Covered Bridge. It's been around for about a hundred years. No traffic anymore but a hangout for kids during the summer. I used to go there to watch the San Lorenzo River put on a show after heavy rains doused the Valley. Several times the water got right up to the bottom of the bridge and even though big stumps struck it several times it stayed up and is a proud example of building techniques that were meant to stay.

wasn't this used for pancake breakfast feast years ago?
i like the perspective of this shot. it makes me think i'm a 6 year old touching my fingertips to the side, trying not to get a splinter.
