A BEAUTIFUL DAY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD

I was having lunch with Daniel, a long-time friend of mine, at Johnny's Harborside Cafe last week when I decided to take this shot with my iPhone4S. It's the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor. The waiting list for a slip is so long, it was recently reported that a dad submitted his newborn son's name hoping that by the time the child was old enough a slip would become available. I really enjoy the harbor. There is quite a variety of water craft berthed here. I don't sail very well so I'm susceptible to any desire to own a boat.
