This wide place in the road is listed as a ghost town. Although I didn't see anyone out and about, there were signs that the place was inhabited. This was mid-August 2011. It was hot, dry, and high elevation. There were no active businesses that I could see. The town had a listed population of about 1400+ in 2000 and now it is listed as 0 in one site and 200 in another. This tower appears to be a source of water to fill a fire truck on its way to a fire. It sure was quiet there. This photo is my first submission to wikipedia.
