In 1997 I took a trip to Bocas del Toro in Panama. This is Changuinola harbor. A laid back serene spot that was quite picturesque. Weather was pleasant as well. The place has really changed now that it has been "discovered". Hotels and tourists have over run the place. I wonder if the locals are grateful for the boost in the economy but at what price.

CHANGUINOLA, REPUBLICA DE PANAMA
In 1997 I took a trip to Bocas del Toro in Panama. This is Changuinola harbor. A laid back serene spot that was quite picturesque. Weather was pleasant as well. The place has really changed now that it has been "discovered". Hotels and tourists have over run the place. I wonder if the locals are grateful for the boost in the economy but at what price.
