WOODROW STRUCK

The photo at the top of this post is of the real Woodrow Struck. I remember him as a very spunky loyal friend. He gave Sue Struck many many hours of companionship and joy. He welcomed everyone that came to her house and made them feel comfortable very quickly.
This is a portrait of the late "Woody Struck". He was a fine dog that gave his keeper many hours of unbridled fun and devotion. The Santa Cruz City Art Commission commissioned a portrait that has been applied to a traffic signal control box at Laurel and Center Streets in Santa Cruz. The portrait is be Marvin Plummer - an extraordinary artist. An informal reception honoring Woodrow will take place at the the traffic box on October 25 between 3-4 p.m. Cheap champagne and water will be served. Congratulations to the artist and to Woodrow. He is immortalized on one of the busiest streets in town.
