SIT IN THE RIVER

This is the Big Sur River as it runs by the Big Sur Inn. I like to go there and have dinner or lunch and then go down to the river and sit on wooden chairs in the middle while I dangle my feet in the cold water. It's a great place to relax.

MY FAVORITE EATING OUT PLACE

This is a great place to eat in Santa Cruz. I don't normally take photos of places that I eat but the owner asked me if I knew the name of the trees out front. Being an arborist I told him that they were Meleleuca alternafolia trees and he asked me to make up a little flyer so he could put it up on a bulletin board for people to read. I did and he gave me a gift certificate. We both won.

SINCE I POSTED THIS I FOUND OUT THAT THIS PLACE IS CLOSING AND WILL BE TURNED INTO A PHYSICIANS OFFICE. WHAT A SHAME.
