I try to go down to the beach during storms in the Winter here in Santa Cruz. The clouds over the Monterey Bay are pretty spectacular. Here there was a break in the cloud cover and the sun shown through for just a moment and I shot this photo. This storm was fatal to a boy trying to take advantage of the wave action and drowned. The breakwater at the entrance to the harbor has had the beacon replaced with a more "lighthouse" looking tower.

SEABRIGHT BEACH - STORM
I try to go down to the beach during storms in the Winter here in Santa Cruz. The clouds over the Monterey Bay are pretty spectacular.
